Summer Solstice 2026: How to Set Intentions That Actually Work and Why the Next Six Months Matter

If you are not setting intentions on the Summer Solstice, do you even really want what you keep asking for?

I say that with love. And I also mean it.

June 21st is the longest day of the year. The sun is at its absolute peak, maximum light, maximum power, and in terms of universal energies this is the most potent intention-setting portal we get all year. What you plant here does not just sit on a piece of paper. It percolates. It builds momentum across the next six months all the way through to the Winter Solstice in December.

The Lion's Gate Portal falls in between and before the (Fall Equinox) and is known as the most potent manifesting day of the year so take this opportunity to set these intentions, work with the energies between now and then - and show up ready for Lion's Gate! The people who use this window, who show up with clear intentions and real strategy behind them, are the ones who look back at the end of the year genuinely stunned by how much shifted. Not because they got lucky. Because they stopped waiting and started moving.

Now, what keeps us stuck is not always what it looks like on the surface. Yes, there are limiting beliefs. Yes, there are stories we have been telling ourselves for years. But sometimes what is holding you back runs deeper than this lifetime entirely. Patterns carried in from past lives and through ancestral ties that no amount of positive thinking, journalling or mindset work will ever fully touch.

This is exactly where quantum healing comes in. Quantum healing is what helps us release blocks, patterns and limiting beliefs not only from this lifetime, but from past lives and ancestral ties as well. If you have done all the work and something invisible still keeps pulling you back, you are not broken. You just need a different tool - and this one of my favourite things to help other with!

Here is what I love about this time of year. In the old traditions, June 21st marks Midsummer, the turning point when the light begins its slow, graceful return toward darkness. In many parts of the world people are making their first jams right now, putting up preserves from the earliest summer fruits, preparing quietly for the darker months ahead. There is something so grounding about that thought. Nature does not wait until it feels ready. It moves with the season.

That is the invitation for you right now too.
