September 2026 Full Moon in Aries: Crystals & Thoughts
After almost 10 months of releasing, I'm ready to move forward.
The full moon is traditionally about releasing. I don't know about you, but after literally almost 10 months of "releasing what no longer serves you," I am done with that for now.
Now, I am not saying that I will always be done with releasing because, honestly, I don't think we ever are. We certainly never stop growing and evolving, so to make room for the new, we must release the old. BUT, after working so hard to be ready for these new energies coming in, I am ready to move forward!
Some people may feel this energy emotionally, while others may experience it as motivation, clarity, restlessness or a strong desire to move forward. I'm definitely feeling the latter.
The full moon can also be about manifesting, and for some of us, magic too. Part of manifesting is taking inspired action to support what it is you truly desire. I have definitely put it all out there, what I really want in this next chapter in my life, and with these energies at play, I am ready to get moving.
There is something about the fire in Aries that always motivates me and though there are some positive aspects astrologically speaking to support this, this is not an astrology lesson. Libra season also feels a lot more balanced to me than Virgo ever possibly could, and I feel that this helps me focus on what to do next.
🔮 Crystals for the Aries Full Moon
The crystals that came up for this Full Moon have a story to tell about how they can energetically assist with the transitions taking place right now, and they're sharing that story with us below.
🌙 Moonstone | Trust Your Inner Knowing
Moonstone is definitely one of my go to crystals, and I work with it every full moon. It helps us connect with the inner divine goddess within as well as our intuition. Everyone has intuition. Are you recognizing yours?
It can be so easy during a big life transition to look outside ourselves for answers. We ask other people what they think we should do, look for signs, overthink every possible option and try to figure out what the “right” decision is. But what if we already know more than we think we do?
Moonstone reminds us to slow down enough to actually listen to that quiet voice inside, especially when there is a whole lot of outside noise telling us what we should do next.
And I think that inner knowing is especially important when we're talking about inspired action. I don't want to rush forward just because I'm impatient to get somewhere. I want to move in a direction that actually feels right for me.
🤍 Selenite | Keeping it Clear
Selenite is one of my favourite crystals for clearing energy and creating a clear space for what comes next, and it is the other one of my Full Moon go-to crystals.
We've spent so much time releasing over the past several months, but clearing isn't the end goal. We clear the space so we can fill it with something new. After almost 10 months of that work, I am ready to stop staring at the empty space and start deciding what I actually want to put in it, and selenite helps keep the space clear for that too.
🐯 Tiger's Eye | Courage, Focus & Confidence
Tiger's Eye has a beautifully grounded energy that I associate with courage, confidence, focus and discernment. Let's be honest, knowing what we want doesn't automatically mean we're going to feel completely confident about going after it. We know exactly what we want, but fear, doubt or overthinking keeps us stuck.
Tiger's Eye reminds us that courage doesn't mean we aren't afraid. It means we don't allow fear to make every decision for us. And as Tiger's Eye is my favourite stone for confidence in self, I grab it when I need the confidence to step outside of my comfort zone and move forward, or at least take the first step.
🔥 Carnelian | Motivation & Forward Movement
And then, we have Carnelian! Why wouldn't it show up again? I named Carnelian the Stone of 2026, so it's no surprise it keeps showing up again and again! 😂
One of the many energies Carnelian brings to the table is worthiness, and I love that about this stone! Let's face it, moving forward and stepping outside of our comfort zones takes a tremendous amount of effort. We have to believe we are worthy of spending all of that energy on ourselves in order to actually do this work.
Carnelian also has a little fire in it to give us the push forward we sometimes need to get started.
☀️ Sunstone | Confidence, Vitality & Stepping Forward
And finally, we have Sunstone. Sunstone carries such a bright, uplifting energy that I associate with confidence, vitality, optimism, personal power and allowing ourselves to shine.
I think this is an important part of moving into a new chapter because sometimes we're completely clear about what we want, but stepping into it means becoming more visible. It means allowing ourselves to take up space and letting ourselves be seen in a way that might feel unfamiliar.
That can be scary, especially if we've spent a lot of our lives adapting ourselves to what other people needed or expected from us. Sunstone reminds us that we don't need to dim our own light to make other people comfortable.
We are allowed to be excited about what's next. We are allowed to want more. We are allowed to take up space. We are allowed to shine, and Sunstone reminds us of that. Combined with Tiger's Eye and Carnelian, I feel these three together will amplify our personal will to keep going through the transformation available to us and waiting for us.
🌙☀️ A Little Bonus: Moonstone + Sunstone
There is a reason I particularly love these two together for this Full Moon. Moonstone and Sunstone balance the yin and yang, dark and light, feminine and masculine when combined.
Moonstone brings us inward, into our intuition, receptivity and inner knowing, while Sunstone brings us outward, into confidence, expression, personal power and action.
I know many people are experiencing some pretty intense emotions during this Full Moon, and I feel this combination can help us keep that balance between being calm, listening inwardly and actually taking action, or at least planning those first steps into this next phase.
Maybe the real message of these five crystals for me right now is: trust yourself, keep energies clear, find your courage, get moving and move into what comes next.
We've spent so much time clearing the path. Now we get to actually walk it.
We get to take everything we've learned, everything we've released and everything we've discovered about ourselves and actually use it. We now have room for the new to come in, and we get to decide what we want to create with that space.
I'm ready. Are you?
