Pisces Full Moon Eclipse 2026: A Look Back - Crystals & Insight

You Can't Move Into the New Chapter While You're Still Holding onto the Old One

Dear Beautiful Soul,

I think this Full Moon eclipse is a massive turning point. And I don't think that's because something new is beginning. We're already in the new chapter.

The problem is, sometimes the hardest part of moving forward isn't figuring out where you're going. It's recognizing what you're still holding onto from where you've been.

And this Pisces Full Moon eclipse is giving us one final look at the pieces of the old cycle that are still trying to come with us.

So how is this going to feel?

Since the end of 2025, so many patterns, habits and beliefs have been coming up for us to review and release. And eclipses have a way of intensifying whatever we're already working through. With this one happening in emotional Pisces, anything we haven't quite been able to let go of may be coming back into focus.

If you want to understand the why underneath a pattern that keeps repeating or if you're being drawn toward deeper healing and spiritual work in a way that feels different from just self-care, you're not confused. You're going deeper.

You're recognizing that something needs to transform, not just be managed or fixed or understood from the outside. It needs to change at the root.

If you've been doing this inner work for a while, you know this feeling. The clarity is there even when the process is uncomfortable. You've stood in this space before. You know the weight of holding on. You know what it costs.

Welcome back to another Full Moon energy update. If you're new here, this is where I look at what the energy is asking and, more importantly, how it may actually be showing up in your life.

We're Already in the New Chapter

I think this is an important distinction, because otherwise this Full Moon can feel a little confusing. We have already started a new 18-month eclipse cycle. The Lunar Nodes shifted into Aquarius and Leo in July, and the Leo eclipse activated this new chapter.

Think of it like starting a new chapter in a book, then realizing you forgot to check the last few pages of the previous one. You don't go back and start reading the whole damn book again. You just flip back long enough to make sure you didn't leave anything important behind.

That's what this feels like to me.

The new chapter has already started. The old cycle is getting one final check.

So while this new Aquarius/Leo cycle asks us to become more authentic and question what we've been conditioned to believe, this Pisces Full Moon is asking one last question about what we're leaving behind:

What is still trying to come with you from the old chapter - even though it no longer serves you?

You May Be Feeling the Change Before You Understand It

This is one of those energies you may feel before you can explain it.

You may be going deeper emotionally or spiritually without really knowing why, questioning beliefs you previously took for granted, realizing that something you've believed for years doesn't actually feel true anymore. Old emotional material is resurfacing, or a familiar pattern is showing up again and you're thinking, Why am I still doing this? I thought I dealt with this.

You might be feeling drawn toward healing, reflection or deeper spiritual work without necessarily knowing what you're looking for.

You're not stuck because you're broken. You're stuck because you're holding something that doesn't belong in the next phase. The moment you release it, you can move forward.

Look at it, see it clearly and ask:
Does this come with me into this new chapter, or do I transmute and release it?

What If What You're Carrying Doesn't Belong to You?

Have you ever tried so hard to release something and wondered why the hell it simply wouldn't let go? You've talked about it, journaled about it, meditated on it, tried to understand it and consciously decided you're done with it. And somehow, it keeps showing up.

What if you're not failing at releasing it?

What if you're trying to release something that isn't actually yours?

We can carry beliefs, expectations and emotional patterns through our families, relationships and environments without ever consciously choosing them. And for those of us who work with ancestral or past-life concepts, there can be an even deeper layer to some of what we carry.

I'm not saying every uncomfortable feeling requires an energetic explanation. Sometimes we're just human beings with complicated emotions and some truly questionable coping mechanisms. 😂

Ask yourself: Does this belong to me?

Because you can't consciously decide what belongs in your future until you understand what you're actually carrying.

The Final Remnants

Keep in mind, not everything from the old chapter is meant to be released. Some of what you've lived through absolutely belongs in the new one. Your wisdom belongs. Your growth belongs. The boundaries you've learned belong. The parts of yourself you've reclaimed belong.

The question is whether you're carrying wisdom or weight, because those aren't the same thing.

The lesson gets to come with you. The weight doesn't.

Maybe It's Time to Ask Why

You may find yourself wanting to understand why.

Why does this particular situation affect me so deeply? Why do I keep choosing this? Why do I keep responding this way? Why do I say I want something different and then make choices that keep me in the same place?

Because sometimes the pattern isn't asking to be "fixed."

It's asking to be understood. And sometimes that understanding looks much different than you may expect.

Maybe there is a belief underneath it. Maybe there is an old identity you're still trying to maintain. Maybe there is a part of you that learned a particular behaviour because it once kept you safe. And sometimes, the deeper reason isn't something you can rationalize or even consciously remember. It may be connected to an ancestral tie, a past life, or karma carried forward from either of those.

And that is where I think transformation becomes much more powerful than simply trying to get rid of something.

Transformation Doesn't Mean Something is Wrong With You

I don't believe we're broken and need to be fixed. Sometimes the patterns and habits that got you through one chapter are not the patterns and habits that will help you thrive through the next one.

There is no need to shame the version of ourselves who did what we knew how to do at the time. We are always doing the best we can do with the knowledge that we have and we can have compassion for that version of us while also recognizing that this isn't the version of us who has to lead the next chapter.

Maybe the part of you that learned to protect yourself can become the part of you that knows how to create boundaries. Maybe something that once looked like fear becomes discernment. Maybe an old belief needs to be questioned rather than carried forward simply because you've believed it for a long time.

Maybe the version of you who needed that pattern simply isn't the version of you who is walking into this next chapter.

That doesn't mean that version of you was wrong.

It means you've changed.

The Crystals I'm Working With for these Energies

🌙 Moonstone

Moonstone is always going to be one of my Full Moon crystals, but this time I'm particularly drawn to it for the way it encourages us to listen inward.

Before you can decide what needs to change, you need to notice what you're actually feeling. What keeps coming up? What are you suddenly aware of? What is your intuition telling you before your logical brain has managed to turn it into a neat little explanation?

I think we often underestimate how much we already know.

Sometimes the answer isn't missing. We're just not quiet enough to hear it.

✨ Selenite

Selenite for energetic clearing, because once you start listening inward, you need to be able to distinguish your own voice from everything else you've absorbed.

Other people's expectations, fears, definitions of success, happiness, safety or who you're supposed to be. Old stories you've been carrying so long that you don't even remember where they came from.

Selenite gives me that sense of creating space around all of that so I can see what actually belongs to me and what does not.

And I think that is especially important right now. You don't want to carry someone else's baggage into your new life just because nobody remembered to tell you it wasn't yours.

🔷 Sodalite

Sodalite is my stone of self-truth and self-knowledge, and that makes it such an important part of this collection.

Once you've listened and cleared some of the noise, you can start asking yourself what is actually true for you now.

Not what was true ten years ago. Not what your family believed. Not what you were conditioned to believe. Not what you needed to believe in order to survive an earlier version of your life.

What is true for you now?

That can be a surprisingly powerful question.

Because sometimes we're trying to change a behaviour when what really needs to change is the belief underneath it. Sometimes we're trying to release an identity that we don't actually need to hate. We simply need to stop living inside it.

Self-knowledge gives you the information you need to make a different choice.

🩵 Hemimorphite

Hemimorphite is my transformation stone for this Full Moon.

Because knowing something about yourself isn't necessarily the same thing as changing it.

You can understand your pattern perfectly and still repeat it.

Ask me how I know. 😂

Transformation happens when what you've uncovered starts changing the way you move through your life. Sometimes that means emotional healing. Sometimes it means changing a belief. Sometimes it means making a decision you've been avoiding. Sometimes it means recognizing that something doesn't need to be destroyed. It needs to become something different.

That's the work.

Not becoming someone completely new, but allowing what you've learned to change who you are becoming.

🧡 Sardonyx

And last but not least, Sardonyx, which brings us to the part I love most: moving forward into the next phase.

Sardonyx is banded Carnelian, so it brings that beautiful Carnelian fire and forward-moving energy, and worthiness is one of the reasons it became my Stone Pick for 2026.”

At some point, you have to stop asking, "How do I get through this?" and start asking, "What do I want my life to look like when I'm no longer just trying to get through it?"

Sardonyx reminds me that moving forward doesn't mean abandoning the past. It means taking the wisdom with you while leaving the weight behind.

Here is the question I invite you to sit with during this Full Moon.

What is still trying to come with me - even though it no longer serves me?

This isn't about becoming a blank slate. It's about becoming intentional about what you're bringing forward.

Because you cannot turn the page while you're still gripping the previous one. You cannot fully step into the next chapter while you're still trying to live by the rules of the last one.

Now that you've survived, Beautiful Soul, it's time to thrive.
