Barbault’s Basket: Are We Standing at the Beginning of a New Era?

There are moments when the collective energy feels like it is asking us to pay attention. This July, astrologers are watching a rare planetary alignment known as Barbault’s Basket that astrologer André Barbault, believed would mark the beginning of a significant new cycle for humanity. From July 19-22, four outer planets are lining up at almost the exact same degree of the sky. Jupiter. Pluto. Neptune. Uranus. The Moon will also be at 4 degrees at the beginning of this alignment, which many connect with the energy of deep reflection.

Andre Barbault is the same man who, back in 2011, pointed to this exact window - 2020 through 2026. He called it the beginning and the end of a major turning point for humanity. Nine years before it happened, he named 2020 as a breaking point.

And when we look back at what unfolded after 2020, it is understandable why many people have connected strongly with his observations. So when he also said that this July would be one of the most beneficial alignments of the century, I pay attention.

I've talked a lot this year about charging into the year of the Fire Horse and the energies amplifying whatever you bring into this year. Let's take a moment to look at what's changed since 2020, which happens to be another energetic prediction Barbault made.

The Last Few Years Have Changed Us - Think of Yourself Pre-Covid

Take a moment and think back to who you were in 2019 - or at least before mid March, 2020.

Not your job or your relationship status. You, on the inside, at the soul level:

Your priorities.
Your beliefs.
Your dreams.
Your definition of success.

How much of that is still the same?
For a lot of people, the answer is "not a lot."

Over the last several years, life has pushed us to examine nearly everything.

Relationships ended.
Careers changed.
Health became a priority.
Old identities dissolved.

Many people began questioning beliefs they had held for decades - even their entire lives. Others began seeking deeper meaning, purpose, and connection.

At psychic fairs, in readings, in classes, and in conversations, I have witnessed the same theme over and over again: People know they cannot go back to who they used to be.

The old version no longer fits. Yet, at first, the new version isn't fully formed. That space in between can feel uncomfortable, but it is also where transformation happens. "What am I being called to build?"

A healthier body?
A more fulfilling career?
A stronger relationship?
A spiritual practice?
A business that aligns with who you are now?
A community?
A life that actually reflects who you have become?

The Energy of 44

One thing people are noticing is that four outer planets are aligning at four degrees in their respective signs so many people connect this symbolism with the energy of 44 in numerology. The number 4 is often associated with foundations and 44 as the master builder.

For me, that symbolism resonates as I believe we are being asked to create stronger foundations for the future. To stop building our lives on fear, obligation, and old conditioning. And start building them on authenticity, purpose, and alignment.

The Fog Is Lifting

The strongest message I receive when I tune into this period is simple:

The fog is lifting. - not all at once or overnight. But enough that we can begin to see where we are heading.

Many people have spent years in uncertainty: questioning, searching, healing, releasing and learning. Now comes the next phase. Action - and I invite you to ensure that is inspired, intentional and aligned action. The kind that builds momentum.
