You Were Never Too Much: The Aquarius Full Moon Invitation to Illuminate Your Truth

Dear Beautiful Soul,

I invite you to hear me when I say this: You do not have to dim your light to belong.

The Aquarius Full Moon is bringing in a powerful invitation to look at where you may have been making yourself smaller, hiding parts of who you are, or holding onto things that no longer align with the person you are becoming.

This Full Moon is not about forcing change. It is about illumination. It is seeing clearly what has been waiting for your attention so you can choose what moves forward with you and what is ready to be released.

Welcome back to another Full Moon energy update. If you are new here, every Full Moon I explore the current energies and, more importantly, how they may be showing up for YOU, whatever phase of this spiral ascension in life you are moving through right now.

And of course, I’ll also be sharing the crystals I am working with for this Aquarius Full Moon and the reasons behind it for each of them.

This Full Moon in Aquarius on July 29th is directly opposite the Sun in Leo, and it’s the last full moon before Lion’s Gate on August 8th. While every Full Moon brings an opposition between the Sun and Moon, this one is supported by several other Leo and Aquarius alignments, amplifying the invitation to balance heart-led self-expression with authentic soul evolution. This is not the time to rush forward blindly. It is the time to pause and ask: what needs to be released so I can step into the version of myself I am ready to become?

Leo and Aquarius are opposite one another in the zodiac for a reason. Leo is self-expression, creativity, courage, being seen, following your heart. Aquarius is authenticity, individuality, evolution, breaking free of outdated patterns, seeing the bigger picture. This full moon is asking you to hold both. Your uniqueness is your contribution. You do not have to dim your light to belong, but your light is meant to serve something greater than yourself.

Saturn also begins its retrograde just a few days before, offering a powerful reminder as we move toward Lion’s Gate. Saturn retrograde is not here to stop our growth or expansion. Instead, it invites us to reflect on our lessons, our patterns, and whether the foundation we are building can truly support the future we are calling in. Before we build something bigger, we need to look honestly at what we are building on.

As we move through the Aquarius Full Moon energy, take some time to reflect on what is truly aligned with your soul and what you are ready to release before stepping deeper into the Lion’s Gate portal.

Ask yourself:

✨ Are my dreams truly aligned with my authentic desires, or are they built on expectations, old beliefs, or what I think I should want?
✨ Am I creating from a place of inner alignment, or am I seeking external validation and approval?
✨ What beliefs, fears, or identities am I ready to release so I can step into the next version of myself and create a stronger foundation for what I am calling in?

This Full Moon is a beautiful opportunity to illuminate what is ready to be seen, release what no longer aligns, and consciously prepare for the manifestations you are ready to create.

Before we call something new into our lives, we must first make space for it.

If you have been feeling like the ground underneath you is shifting, maybe this is why. Maybe you have been holding everything together with tape and good intentions, or maybe you already know something needs to change and you have been waiting for the courage to release it. Wherever you are, this moon meets you there.

Release, Reclaim, Rebuild.

Release whatever you built to be accepted instead of to be authentic. The obligations you said yes to so you would not disappoint anyone. The version of you that kept the peace at the cost of your own truth.

Reclaim the parts of you that you have been minimizing because they felt like too much. Your creativity. Your intuition. Your voice. These were never too much. They are the point.

Rebuild with intention this time. Not on a house of cards. On something honest and truly you.

Crystal Support for This Full Moon

As always, Selenite and Moonstone are my go-to crystals for every Full Moon. Isn't that exactly what this moon is asking of us? Your gifts, your voice, your authenticity have always been there. Sometimes they simply need the right light to be revealed. You might even choose a crystal to sit with during this reflection, write down what you are ready to release, and then place your intention somewhere you will see it again. Release what is ready by transmuting the past, integrating the lesson, and making space for the future you are creating.

And then let the rest be a work in progress, because it is allowed to be.
